Jo: Hello, beautiful soul. Welcome back to the podcast. I'm so excited that you're here. Today, I'm recording on a Sunday, which is a little unusual. I normally record on Thursdays, but I have been so involved in getting [00:01:00] this Grant Your Own Wishes three-day manifestation challenge. All put together. The challenge is. Much more involved and in depth than I was expecting, I've got. Over 75 slides of information and 34 pages for a workbook. That I was not expecting to just flow out of me, but I've been really involved in getting the Facebook group going in getting everything prepared for the challenge and getting everything prepared for the launch of REIGN. This round is going to be all new updated information. We are going in. I am so excited. But anyway, that's not what we're here to talk about today. What we're here to talk about today is what I like to call the new paradigm of manifestation. And I don't know that it's actually new. I think it's actually pretty ancient. We're just remembering it now. And what I mean by new paradigm manifestation is we're ditching all of the rituals and tools and techniques. Those are great. And I love a good ritual that makes me [00:03:00] feel really good and really expansive and puts me in the correct energy, but they're not necessary. They're just accessories. If manifestation where like the beauty industry. A healthy subconscious. Would be like your nutrition. And your skincare. Right. It provides the foundation for everything else. Whereas the manifestation tools and techniques and rituals that we see all over YouTube and Instagram and Tik TOK nowadays. Like the 55 by five method or five by 55, whichever way it goes, 3, 6, 9 method. The visualizing until your brain wants to curl up in a ball and go hide in a cave. The two cup method. There's so many different methods out there. That's all accessory. It's like makeup. But what we really need to be focusing on is our skincare and our nutrition. If we want a good foundation [00:04:00] for the makeup, if we want the makeup to work better. If we want it to look better at, we need to have good solid subconscious foundation. Which is what I'm teaching in this three day challenge and in REIGN. So if you're wanting to go much deeper, Then go ahead and hop in to the challenge. It's not too late. It was something that I didn't learn about until later in my manifestation journey. I had discovered all of the different tools. And one of the tools that I discovered was the 55 by five method. Where you write out. Your desired manifestation, 55 times in one sitting. Five days in a row. And the way that the person I discovered this method from was so convincing that this was going to change my [00:05:00] life. I thought it was going to change my life. I remember very clearly sitting down and following the directions. And listing out my desired manifestation, which was financial freedom at the time. 55 times. I am so happy and grateful that I am now financially free. I am so happy and grateful that I am now financially free. Over and over and over and over again until my hand cramped up. For five days in a row. And the thing is it didn't work. Now, let me explain a little bit for why it didn't work because I know better now, but I didn't know back then. What the tool is aiming to do is reprogram your subconscious mind through repetition. Now the thing is our mind is broken into two main components with a separating factor called the critical faculty. So our conscious mind is separated from our unconscious mind by the critical faculty, which is commonly referred to as the BS meter[00:06:00] of the mind. It's the gatekeeper. It's going to keep things away from your subconscious mind that it doesn't believe. And while yes, you can absolutely change your beliefs and have them sink down into the subconscious level through repetition. If you don't have the feeling attached to that thought. It's not going to get into the subconscious. So what was happening to me? I was when I was writing this statement. I'm so happy and grateful that I'm now financially free. I did not believe it to be true. My BS meter was going off. The critical faculty was bouncing that right back out into the ether. It was not sinking into my subconscious mind. At all. So, no matter how many times I wrote it. My BS meter was going off and I had this feeling of, oh, I like, I can't do that. That's not for me. I won't ever actually be able to be financially free. The emotion that was tied to it was like this dread or this unworthiness. [00:07:00] So instead of the tool working, I was left we're writing the statement. 55 times over five days with no results from that tool. Which was a bummer, right? I wanted to be financially free. But there's also another problem with that. Because you want these statements to be semi generalized because you're writing them over and over and over and over again. I hadn't actually gotten into what financially free really meant to me. Like I had this broad idea, like I wanted to not have any more debt and I wanted to be able to go out and. Afford things that I wanted to do. But I hadn't gotten into what that really means to me. Does financially free to me mean that I can still have a mortgage payment and a car payment. And that's fine. Or does that mean that I don't take out. Any line of credit at all, ever for anything and pay for everything in cash. Like, what does that really entail? [00:08:00] What does that really mean for me? Because I hadn't narrowed down and actually defined what it was that I was wanting. It's like instructions unclear. And we don't believe at any way. So it's a double whammy. It's like, from the beginning I was set up to not have this desire manifest with this tool because of these different components that were lacking. So what I do with my students and my clients now is I helped them understand the beliefs that are in their subconscious mind currently, because whatever is in your subconscious mind is going to manifest your subconscious mind will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever make you a liar. It's going to find things in your environment and in your life that. Confirm what you already believe. So the best way to find out what's in your subconscious mind is to look around you. What's currently going on, what patterns are repeating? Do you keep dating the same person? In a different body.[00:09:00] Do they treat you the same way as the person before them? When we recognize these patterns, we can then dissect it and get to the beliefs that are lurking in our subconscious mind. And once we have that belief, we can then reprogram it. Through subconscious techniques or through affirmations and repetition. Whichever is your preferred way to do that. For a long time, I really hesitated to call myself a manifestation coach. Because I didn't want people coming across my work with preconceived notions about, oh, this is just another manifestation coach. She's just going to teach us all of these tools that you can find on YouTube and Instagram. No. I didn't want anybody coming across my work with preconceived notions because the style of manifestation that I do it's highly focused on subconscious work and nervous system regulation. Not heavy on the tools. And that's so much different than what you're going to find on YouTube with all of the magical scripts [00:10:00] and the 55 by five method and all of these methods that promise like thousands of dollars overnight, or like the hypnosis videos that are like hypnotize yourself while you're asleep to manifest all of this money. That's not the style of manifestation that I do. And I didn't want anybody coming across me and being like, oh, Well, she's just another manifestation teacher and I can find all of this information on YouTube. That's not what I do. So I'm curious.
