Jo: [00:00:00] I remember wanting a radio show of my own while I was growing up, or at least wanting to be on the radio in some way where I could just talk about anything and play the songs that I liked and the whole thing. And somewhere along the [00:01:00] line I picked up that my voice wasn't enough. It wasn't worth being heard.
and that it was annoying. So I became quiet. I started to suppress my voice. I stopped talking so much, and I got it in my head that my voice wasn't worth listening to. And I feel like a lot of women can relate to that. And now at almost 30. I've picked up a lot of lessons along the way and a lot of knowledge.
I've done a lot of healing, and I feel now that I can finally let my voice be heard I can finally speak and share and not hate the way that I sound or feel like my message isn't worth being heard. And that's really cool, it's a liberating feeling to be honest.
But there's still a little bit of fear, a little bit of fear about what people might think. Will people still think that my voice is annoying? Will people think that my message is not worth being heard? And now that I say that out loud and I actually give voice to it? Is completely [00:02:00] ridiculous and I can't feel it in my body anymore.
And that's one of the most beautiful things about using our voice, about expressing ourselves, allowing the emotions and fears and worries out into the open by giving voice to them. speaking them out gives them this different dynamic and all of a sudden those fears have nothing to stand on.
if this is your first time coming into my world, my name is Jo. I am a master mindset and manifestation coach. I'm certified in five different modalities, life and success coaching EFT, N L P time techniques, which is now neural energetic encoding and clinical hypnotherapy.
I really work with my clients to bring them back into their power, to reclaim their sovereignty so that they can create a life that they absolutely love. Instead of living the life that they think they're supposed to live, because that's what they've been told their entire lives,
I really shied away from [00:03:00] calling myself a manifestation coach for a very long time.
Because the common thing that comes up when people think about manifestation is all of the rituals and tricks and techniques and things that don't really work for a lot of people.
What I believe manifestation to be is really just bringing things that are in our imagination that we dream up and making them a reality.
We manifest every single day of our lives, whether we are consciously aware of it or not.
And a lot of the techniques that are being taught on YouTube and social media everywhere don't address. The underlying subconscious beliefs and values and metaprograms and programs that are in your subconscious mind
that are in conflict with what you truly want, your subconscious mind is always, always, always going to win.
So I played around with calling myself all kinds of different titles, but really what I do is true manifestation at its core.
I finally [00:04:00] came to terms with calling myself a manifestation coach.
And that was a big thing for me to finally settle on a title.
and I hope to spread awareness that manifestation is a very natural process. It's always happening. it's an ongoing thing. It's not magic. . It's not voodoo, it's not witchcraft. It's a completely natural thing that we do all the time, whether we are aware of it or not.
Now, with that being said, we can use this process, this naturally occurring process and optimize. So that we are now co-creators of our world consciously.
We can repattern our subconscious mind, we can change our beliefs, we can change our values to align with that life that we so, so desire to live.
And I think that's a very beautiful thing. I got started in this work a few years ago, [00:05:00] shortly becoming a nurse. After graduating nursing school. I was hired on as an ICU nurse, and I very quickly realized that I love helping people. I love taking care of people and giving them a better shot at life, but the setting that I was in
was not for me.
I knew that there was so much out there for me and I wanted to be helping people in a different capacity. I wanted to help people create lives that they loved, and at that point, that's not what I was doing.
And that was the harsh reality of that time in my life. It had gotten to a point where the hospital that I was working at was taken over. It was bought out by a different company and they had started to make change. And one of the biggest changes they made was in our staffing ratios. So instead of being two patients to one nurse, we now had three patients to one nurse in an ICU setting.
And as a new [00:06:00] nurse with under two years experience, that was terrifying. It was hard enough to juggle two critically ill patients and. Now they're throwing on a third.
So I ended up leaving the hospital and trying home health, which I did not enjoy. And then I got hired on with an agency and went back into the ICU at a different hospital with better staffing ratios, and I enjoyed that for a little bit. that's when I discovered the yes supply method on Pinterest.
One day, just scrolling along, I came across a pin for the yes supply method and at this point I was aware of the world of fitness coaching, but I was unaware of the world of mindset coaching. . So this pin had me very intrigued because it was a certification program for life and success coaching, clinical hypnotherapy, emotional freedom techniques, neurolinguistic programming and time techniques like holy bananas.
There was so much in this certification program, and at the time I was married [00:07:00] to my now ex-husband. and I knew he would not agree to the price tag on this course. So I asked the universe multiple times for multiple signs on whether or not I should proceed with getting this course anyway. And each time I got a yes, a big yes from the universe, so I bought it.
And this is not the reason why we are divorced now. That's a story for another day. . So I bought this course and I dove in and it was absolutely incredible. I started using the techniques on myself, and I saw my life starting to change.
In order to get certified, I did the self-paced version. So I had to submit videos of me performing the techniques on other people to demonstrate that I knew how to do the techniques.
And the people that I did the techniques with had amazing. amazing results and transformation, which gave me a lot of confidence in what I was doing and the path that I was on.
So I started my coaching business. I started it and it was amazing until [00:08:00] my ex-husband decided that he wanted, To have control or censorship over everything that I posted, he had to have a say in it. So when we finally got divorced, I scrapped that business entirely because all I could see in any post that I looked at was all of the censorship and all of the ways that my voice was truly being repressed.
So here I am after the great divorce of 2020,
really ready to completely uplevel my life. At this point, I was at my rock bottom, and all I could think about was if I'm going to rebuild my life, I'm going to do it in a way that will make me proud. That will make me feel good because my entire life, up to this point, I've been living for other people and that's not gonna fly with me anymore.
So I invested in a manifestation program to completely change my life and it.
During the duration of this program, I manifested so many things into my [00:09:00] life, completely up-leveled my identity, met my soulmate, and my now husband.
I manifested my way out of an impossible car trade.
Completely shifted my identity,
and I feel so much better in my body
among so many other things. And now I get to take what I've learned not just in the past couple of years, but throughout my lifetime and healing a lifetime of trauma. And I get to share that with so many. That's my favorite part of my job. Hands down period, the end.
I love getting to connect with other women and help them through and watch them transform.
So my journey up until this point has not been an easy one, but it's been full of so many lessons, so many trials and tribulations that I now get to share and let other women know that they're not alone and that if I can make it through, so can.
throughout this podcast, I will be sharing more [00:10:00] stories about my past, more stories about where I'm going, more stories just to share stories.
And I'll also be bringing other people on the podcast to interview them and let them share with you their areas of expertise so that you're not just listening to my voice all the time.
But don't just think that this podcast is only gonna be me sharing stories.
This podcast will also have a lot of education around the subconscious mind and manifesting, and how your subconscious mind creates your reality and inspiration, motivation, and all of the things spiritual and woowoo. So get ready to dive in. I am so, so excited that you will be here with me on this journey.
So that is it for today. I love you, and I will see you in the next. [00:11:00]
